St. John members of the Larnaca District Committee organized a blood collection at the end of last year. This activity takes place every year and tends to become an institution. The availability of blood with the government hospitals at district level is of crucial importance as shortage are of a permanent nature. This is why the initiative of the Larnaca District Committee deserves of mention and of particular applause. St John Association and Brigade do hope that it will serve as an example to follow for other sections of the Cyprus Community.
